Joy ecosystem — communications & data terms

One ecosystem

The Joy ecosystem is a family of related products and projects operated by Joy Journey, LLC, including Joy Journey (the wellbeing app), JoyBuilder, the Joy Journey book, Joy Movement, and the gojoyjourney.com hub. When you sign up for, or join, any one of these, you're joining the ecosystem — not just a single app.

What you're agreeing to receive

By creating an account or sharing your email with any Joy-family property, you agree that Joy Journey, LLC and its Joy-family properties may send you:

• Transactional / essential messages — account, security, and service emails. These are required to provide the service and are not marketing.
• Ecosystem communications — product news, new features, stories, reminders, and occasional offers from across the Joy ecosystem, regardless of which property you originally signed up through.

We send from our own domains (for example, news.gojoyjourney.com and notify.gojoyjourney.com) and always identify ourselves as part of the Joy ecosystem.

How we share data within the ecosystem

Your contact details and basic profile information may be shared among the Joy-family properties listed above so we can recognize you across the ecosystem and send relevant communications. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unrelated third-party brands for their own marketing.

We use service providers (such as our email-delivery provider) to operate these communications; they process data on our behalf under contract and may not use it for their own purposes.

Your choices — unsubscribe anytime

• Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops the newsletter and promotional emails across the ecosystem.
• Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential account / service messages, and does not prevent us from replying to you directly if you've been in touch with us.
• To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, or to withdraw consent entirely, contact privacy@gojoyjourney.com.
• EU / UK / Canada residents have additional rights (access, erasure, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent) under GDPR / UK-GDPR / CASL; we honor these.
